Biography

 

Aristotle Triantis pursued education in Graphic Design and Liberal Studies in painting. The activation with the visual arts began in 1997 sporadically participating in collective exhibitions. Since 2000 after a total   personal revision and viewing of conditions, follows more active paths. He meets the author Vlasi Rassia, publisher of the Mail Art magazine "C' EST DEMAIN", and the historian now "Open City" and curator of the first International mail art exhibition in Greece, and so he active in area of "Mail Art" and similar artistic networks.


Often participates in the mail art exhibitions in the world, as some of these "BOOK ART" UNESCO - Artetica Gallery Rome, "MicroYoung" 2008 Circolo Culturale BERTOLT BRECHT - MILANO and the artistic networks of Ypsilon flouxous, IUOMA "International Union of mail artists" and the artistic movements GheoArt and Esasperatismo.

 
He has also cooperated in a digital project with the painter and mail artist Thomai Kontou and the team ''ikonoplastes'' at February 2007, in her proposal for the city of Elassona due to UNESCO programme in cooperation with the Sharjah Biennial 8 of United Arab Emirates "Μy City - Scenes and Sounds of My City."

In 2007 he has participated to artistic commission (curator Thomai Kontou) in the
1st International Mail Art Biennale 2007 at the city of Larissa in Greece.

Lately, the March 2008, he made the first solo exhibition at the
Action Art Gallery "UNESCO" in Piraeus Greece.

In April 2008 A. Triantis with V. Rassias curetted a mail art project, called
SACREDNESS OF THE WILDLIFE.
